I'm not the type of person to open a book, and fall in love with it. I never really read books that much, for that matter, but when you have a good book like A Stolen Life. You find yourself never putting the book down, and that's what I did, when I read A Stolen Life. In life there are things that you never want to happen to you, but there's also a part in where you can't control the horrible things that do happen to you. Every little girl dreams of their life spending summer days with their mom, friends, and family, until the day you get that all taken away in a matter of 2 minutes. This book was hear to read, hard to imagine all the suffering, and pain a little girl goes though when getting taken. The detail, of what she went though the 18 years she was separated from her family. One things that caught my attention, and I couldn't stop thinking about this was that she was able to go out and spend the day with the "New family", but no one knew who she was, no one asked, no one cares. I thought that all the searching, and cases with the abduction, people would see the resemblance, but no one did. From reading this you can conclude that family meant forever to Jaycee, because she had so many opportunities to run away, but she thought about her kids back at home. There are many more disappointing, heart whelming stories in the book. I encourage everyone male, or female to read this book.
